Yesterday was a challenging day at the hospital and I can't really face going into all the details right now, but the important details are that the baby is doing well, I am continuing to dilate and efface and my body is showing progress.
Physically, emotionally and intuitively I feel that this baby has his or her own timing, that my body will respond to that timing and that the baby is still thriving and everything is exactly as it should be.
We are spending the day doing lots of physical activity and staying mentally bouyant.

- We are a family of four: one part American, one part British and two pints of half and half. We live in Alaska in the summer where our dog Inca chases grizzly bears. Seattle is home in the winter where we try to stay dry but don't mind the rain. We love to travel, cook, create, garden, photograph, fish, design, explore and be outdoors. Life is precious and we try to capture it here.
