I made this little video of Poppie last night to send to Nick. He talks to Finn a couple times a day on the phone and also sends him little videos of what he I doing and seeing. But Poppie isn't quite as communicative at this stage so I take a daily picture or a little video so Nick can see his girl.

Mama's little helper
12 weeks into this whole sibling adventure and Finn finally wants to be the helpful older brother. He goes to her when she cries and pushes her in the baby swing and lets us know when her head falls forward when she is sleeping in the carseat. He is quick to point out when Poppie is happy, sad or sick and takes pride in being a big brother when we take him to preschool.
As a mother, this warms my heart to no end. And with Nick gone, these little gestures are actually really helpful.
